Have you ever sat outside on a warm summer night, just gazing up at the stars?
I know I have, and I also know that I have no clue what I am looking at. I can always find the Big Dipper, but never the Little, and I think that the North Star is north, but then where is that? Well this App of the Week will help you with all of these issues.
Introducing Google Star Maps! This new App allows you to see past the normal range of vision. All you have to do is install this app to your iPhone or Android Device, point it up at a night sky, and your phone will identify constellations and stars that it sees. Come to think about it, this would be just wonderful for those nights spent out at the Caine fire pits or gently swaying with the night breeze in a hammock near the quad.
This app is pretty cool, and very interesting. I highly advise you to check it out and give it a whirl! What do you have to lose? It’s free!
