Hi everyone!  My name is Julia Borst; let me tell you a little bit about myself.  I went to Plymouth high school in Canton, MI. Some of you may have heard of my high school, but for those who haven’t, it’s a bit unique. My high school was one of three schools on one campus, which is called “the Park.” As a result, I attended classes in all three schools – Plymouth, Salem, and Canton High Schools. The other unique thing about where I went to school is that there are over 6,250 students at the Park. Anyway, that was my high school education, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It will be a big change coming from the Park to AC, but I am looking forward to it.

I have a pretty huge family by today's standards. I am one of five kids -- I am the second oldest -- so I'm used to being overrun by younger siblings and bossed around by both my older and younger siblings. I don't mind -- most of the time. ;) I have seven people in my family, including my parents (8 if you include my cat, Boots), and sometimes it's completely crazy -- you could even call it hectic. Especially when all seven of us are piled into our minivan on a 22-hour drive down to FL. Like I said, it can be crazy and maddening, but I love it and I wouldn't have it any other way.

I am a bit of a bookworm, although that is kind of an understatement. It would probably be more correct to say that I'm a bookaholic. I love to read, and if I could, I'd devote the rest of my life to reading. Really, I read a lot. When anyone asks me what kinds of books I read, it's always hard for me to answer. I read a combination of a lot of different kinds of books. Usually, I just say "everything."

Other than reading, I like to hang out with my friends and family. I like my movies -- my favorite movie of all time might be Mulan, which just goes to show you how weird I am. :) I like swimming (though not on a team), writing (which is why I'm doing this blog), horse back riding (though I haven't been able to do that in a while) and figure skating when there's an open-skate nearby. I also love to travel; my trip to Italy and Greece last summer was the most amazing experience I've ever had. It is one of my dearest wishes to travel again someday.
