The Bulldog Project Asks: You're coming to Adrian! How did you know you wanted to attend here? What sort of expectations do you have for College?

When I was in 8th grade, I had a college fair at my school and Adrian representatives were there. I looked at the brochure, looked at my Mom and said, "I'm going here." She looked at me and said, "You're crazy. You're only in 8th grade."

As my senior year came along, I went into a senior leadership course that made me teach my 2nd grade class and my Autistic kids. I knew I wanted to go into education, but didn't know what grade level. At Adrian, I will be majoring in elementary education and psychology. I want to be a mentor for my students and teach them that I am there because I want to be and not because I have to be. I think college will be a lot of fun with many things to do on campus. I believe everyone will get personal attention and get the help they need. College is about expanding your horizons yet you still have to study and get a good education.

As of right now I live in Ohio but I was previously I lived in New Jersey and Massachusetts. I love the Patriots, Giants, Jets, and the Boston Red Sox. I love coffee with a little cream and that's it. I love to read classic books like Wuthering Heights, The Great Gatsby, and many more!

In college, I will be participating in the bands, choirs and the theatre department along with intramural sports, going to sport events, getting involved with the community and possibly Greek life! I also hope to study abroad because I love to travel.
