Bulldog Project asks: How are you getting ready for AC?
I've been doing a lot of shopping, and it's been a lot of fun getting all of the things that I'll need for AC: a desk lamp, a rug for my dorm room, towels, a comforter, sheets, dishes, silverware...and the list goes on. I think my closet at soon explode with all of the stuff that I have put in it to get my purchases off of my bedroom floor ... which still has a ton of stuff on it in spite of trying to put most of it in my closet. Oh well, it won't be there for much longer. ;)
Aside from busying stuff for my dorm room, I am going to try to get a debit card soon so I can get cash from my savings account when I need it. I have been trying to supplement my savings account with babysitting money, but a lot of that money went to use when I attended the Bon Jovi concert (which, by the way, was AWESOME!) at Ford Field in Detroit. So, I have plans to babysit a lot for the rest of the summer to make some more money.
I am very, very excited to move in and meet my roommate and set up our room. I can't wait to arrange our furniture and all of our stuff that we're bringing. It'll be fun to make the room we were assigned "our" room and leave our own special mark on it.
I can't wait to move in and get to know my fellow classmates, and I hope the rest of you are looking forward to moving in and starting college at AC too!
