Take chances and believe in the possibilities, even when life has given you every reason not to believe. - OTH
With the new year there becomes new challenges, new faces, and old problems, but most importantly new opportunities. Every new year, people around the country create a new years resolution. The most common resolutions are giving up on fast food, working out more often, and not swearing. This year my own new years resolution wasn't something that could be measured, but it was a challenge to myself. To stop worrying about the small things, enjoy life while we have it and have no regrets.
When I take a look back at 2015, I see success, I see defeat and all of the above. I also see regret. I regret some of the choices I made and also some of the chances I didn't take. We go through life wishing dreaming, and wanting, but many times never doing. Don't be afraid to take that chance because you never know if you will have it again. If you live your life scared or stand watching from the sidelines you may never get your moment to shine in the spotlight.
"Some of us will escape the pain of regret by making the right choice. Some of us have little time for regret because we are looking forward to the future. Sometimes we have to fight to come to terms with the past, and sometimes we bury our regret by promising to chance our own ways. But our biggest regrets are not for the things that we did-- but for the things we didn't do. The things we didn't say to someone we cared about, especially when we can see the dark storm headed their way." - LS
So this new year, join me and live life to the fullest. Live with no regrets. Take chances and step away from the sidelines. Make those dreams and wishes come true. Save someone from the dark storm heading their way and make a difference in the world. Change your attitude and watch the impact it has on you and others around you. Life will create obstacles, and throw things at you, don't survive life: Fight it. Become a warrior and take regret out of your vocabulary. Live to regret nothing.
